The People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) of Indonesia has sworn in five new members to fill vacancies for the 2024-2029 term from the Gerindra and Golkar factions. The ceremony took place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Nusantara V Building in the DPR/MPR Complex, Jakarta, led by MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani. Muzani expressed hope that the newly appointed members would strengthen the MPR, quickly adapt to their roles, and play significant parts as MPR members. "We expect our newly sworn-in colleagues to actively engage in their constituencies, as that is what the public is waiting for," Muzani stated.

The appointments were made based on Presidential Decree Number 8/P and 17/P of 2025. After the ceremony, the five members took their oaths, led by Ahmad Muzani. They pledged, "In the name of God, I swear, in the name of God, I promise," as they recited their commitments together.

They affirmed their dedication to fulfilling their duties as MPR members to the best of their abilities, in accordance with laws, guided by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. In their oath, the members also committed to working diligently to uphold democracy and prioritize the interests of the nation over personal or group interests. "I will advocate for the aspirations of the people and the region I represent to achieve national goals for the benefit of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. May God assist me," they concluded.

The five members sworn in by Muzani today are: Mulyadi from the Gerindra faction, replacing Fadli Zon; Anang Susanto Suhendar from the Golkar faction, replacing Tb. Ace Hasan Syadzily; Andhika Satya Wasistho from the Golkar faction, replacing Nusron Wahid; Maruli Siahaan from the Golkar faction, replacing Meutya Hafid; and Franciscus Maria Agustinus Sibarani from the Golkar faction.
