Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has assigned several of his officers to various ministries and agencies as part of the latest reshuffle within the police force. According to telegram ST/488/III/KEP/2025, several high-ranking police officers have taken on roles in different ministries. For instance, Brigadier General Hery Sasongko has been appointed to the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs. Brigadier General Hermawan, who previously served as a senior investigator at the Criminal Investigation Agency, has been reassigned to the National Food Agency. Meanwhile, Brigadier General Arif Fajarudin has been assigned to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, where he also holds a senior position in the Police Human Resources Division.
Additionally, Brigadier General Achmadi, who was previously an Intelligence Officer, has been moved to the Police Intelligence and Security Agency with a new role in the Ministry of Creative Economy. There is also Commissioner Sunarto, who has transitioned from the South Sumatra Public Relations Division to a mid-level officer role in the Police Security Maintenance Agency, now working with the Ministry of Population and Family Development. This telegram, dated March 12, 2025, indicates that a total of 1,255 personnel have experienced changes in their positions. "We aim to ensure that the police remain strong in facing future security challenges. This reshuffle is part of our strategy to enhance the organization and improve our service to the public," stated Police Public Relations Division Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho on Thursday, March 13, 2025. The Police Chief has conducted a significant reshuffle among high-ranking and mid-level officers, including the appointment of 10 new regional police chiefs.
Among them are Inspector General Drs. Nanang Avianto as the East Java Police Chief, Brigadier General Mardiyono as the Bengkulu Police Chief, and Inspector General Rusdi Hartono as the South Sulawesi Police Chief. In this reshuffle, 57 female police officers have received promotions, with 10 of them taking on the role of district police chiefs.
Among those mentioned are AKBP Kadek Citra Dewi, who is the Chief of Police for Jembrana in Bali; AKBP Veronica, the Chief of Police for Salatiga in Central Java; and AKBP Heti Patmawati, the Chief of Police for East Lampung in Lampung. This reshuffle resulted in 881 personnel receiving promotions, 74 personnel starting their education, 88 personnel completing their education, 77 personnel assigned to special duties, 51 personnel confirmed in new positions, and 63 personnel entering retirement.
