Maroef Sjamsoeddin Has Been Appointed As The CEO Of MIND ID, Replacing Hendi Prio Santoso

Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir is reportedly restructuring the leadership of the state-owned mining holding company, MIND ID. According to sources from Bisnis at the BUMN Ministry, Maroef Sjamsoeddin has been appointed as the new CEO of MIND ID, replacing Hendi Prio Santoso, who has held the position since 2021. Bisnis has attempted to confirm this leadership change with Deputy Minister of BUMN Dony Oskaria and Teddy Barata, the Deputy for Human Resources, Technology, and Information at the BUMN Ministry, but neither has responded as of the time of this report.

Further investigation by Bisnis shows that Hendi Prio Santoso's profile is no longer listed among the directors on MIND ID's official website. The site currently features profiles of Deputy CEO Dany Amrul Ichdan, Portfolio and Business Development Director Dilo Seno Widagdo, Finance Director Akhmad Fazri, and Risk Management and HSSE Director Nur Hidayat Udin. Maroef Sjamsoeddin is a well-known figure in the mining sector, having served as the president director of PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) from 2015 to 2016. He is also the brother of Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and is a retired Air Force officer.
