Complete List Of Recent TNI Mutations, Including BSSN Chief Lt. Gen. Nugroho Sulistyo Budi

A total of 101 high-ranking officers in the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have officially undergone rotation and transfer. This latest rotation and transfer is detailed in the TNI Commander’s Decision Number Kep/7/I/2025, dated January 3, 2025, regarding appointments and dismissals within the TNI. Among those transferred is Lieutenant General Nugroho Sulistyo Budi, the newly appointed head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), who was designated on December 6, 2024, but has not yet been inaugurated. According to Kompas.id on Saturday, January 4, 2025, Nugroho has been moved to a position at the TNI Army Headquarters as he approaches retirement. However, the decision letter does not specify who will replace him as head of BSSN, as the appointment of the BSSN head is under presidential authority, as explained by TNI's Chief of Information, Major General Hariyanto. Additionally, Air Marshal Kusworo has also been transferred from his role as head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) due to retirement. Hariyanto stated that the 101 TNI officers involved in this transfer include members from all three branches: the Army, Navy, and Air Force. "The rotation and transfer of 101 TNI officers has been officially established, consisting of 62 from the Army, 8 from the Navy, and 31 from the Air Force," said Hariyanto at TNI Headquarters in Cilangkap, East Jakarta, as reported by Kompas.com on Sunday, January 5, 2025. TNI Army Officer Transfers: Lieutenant General Eko Margiyono, M.A. from Deputy Governor of Lemhannas to TNI Army Headquarters (for retirement) Lieutenant General Nugroho Sulistyo Budi, M.M., M.Han from head of BSSN to TNI Army Headquarters (for retirement) Major General Lukmansyah, M.Tr.(Han) from Deputy for Emergency Handling at BNPB to Special Staff of the Army Chief of Major General TNI Budi Irawan, S.I.P., M.Si from the Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Personnel Affairs has been appointed as the Deputy for Emergency Management at BNPB (the handover of duties is pending the Presidential Decree). Major General TNI Haryanto, S.I.P., M.Tr.(Han) from the XVIII/Ksr Military Command will take over as the Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Personnel Affairs. Major General TNI Jimmy Ramoz Manalu S.Hub.Int., M.H.I. from the Chief of Staff of Kogabwilhan I is now the Commander of the XVIII/Ksr Military Command. Brigadier General TNI Jala Argananto, M.A., M.Sc from the Directorate of Cavalry has become the Special Staff to the Chief of Staff. Brigadier General TNI Dani Wardhana, S.Sos., M.M., M.Han from the Head of the Public Relations Bureau at Lemhannas is now the Director of Cavalry. Brigadier General TNI Mirza Agus, S.I.P from the Directorate of Secapaad has taken over as the Head of the Public Relations Bureau at Lemhannas. Brigadier General TNI Franz Yohannes Purba, S.I.P., M.M from the Deputy Commander of Akmil is now the Director of Secapaad. Brigadier General TNI Fierman Sjafirial Agustus from the Commander of Korem 064/MY (Serang) in Kodam III/Slw has become the Deputy Commander of Akmil. Brigadier General TNI Riyanto, S.I.P from the Commander of Korem 051/Wkt (East Jakarta) in Kodam Jaya has become the 2nd Infantry Division Commander of Kostrad. Colonel Inf Nugroho Imam Santoso, S.E., M.M from the Staff of Denmabesad is now the Commander of Korem 051/Wkt (East Jakarta).
