Appointing Senior Officials At The Ministry Of Economic Affairs, Minister Airlangga Emphasizes Innovation And Breakthroughs To Achieve Economic Growth Targets

According to the mandate of Presidential Regulations Number 139 and 143 of 2024 regarding the transition of duties and changes in the organizational structure of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto appointed high-ranking officials within the ministry based on Presidential Decree Number 186/TPA of 2024 on Monday, December 16.

"Today, we have appointed 9 positions at Echelon I, including the Deputy Minister, 5 Deputies, and 3 Expert Staff. Congratulations to those who have been appointed. This is a significant responsibility that must be carried out with dedication and integrity. With the new titles and tasks, you are expected to continue innovating and making breakthroughs to achieve the set targets," said Minister Airlangga during the event.

Minister Airlangga emphasized to the newly appointed officials that, in facing increasingly complex global economic challenges, the role of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs is crucial and strategic. Therefore, collective effort and hard work are needed, especially to achieve President Prabowo Subianto's vision and mission, particularly the target of 8% economic growth.

"There are many tasks ahead of us, and the responsibilities given are heavier, especially in this abnormal global situation. We hope the world economy will recover, and this will help us strengthen our economic resilience. I trust that the responsibilities assigned to you will be carried out smoothly and safely," Minister Airlangga stated.

The newly appointed high-ranking officials include Susiwijono Moegiarso as the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ferry Irawan as the Deputy for Coordination of State-Owned Enterprises Management and Development, Raden Edi Prio Pambudi as the Deputy for Economic Cooperation and Investment Coordination, Ali Murtopo Simbolon as the Deputy for Trade and Digital Economy Coordination, Elen Setiadi as the Deputy for Energy and Mineral Resources Coordination, and Mohammad Rudy Salahuddin as the Deputy for Industry, Manpower, and Tourism Coordination.

Additionally, Dida Gardera has been appointed as the Expert Staff for Connectivity and Service Development, Rizal Edwin Manansang as the Expert Staff for Digital Transformation, and Haryo Limanseto as the Expert Staff for Regional Development.
