The number of LinkedIn users in Indonesia has reached 32 million, according to updated global statistics from LinkedIn as of February 2025 (Q2 FY25). This figure represents 3% of LinkedIn's total global user base, which stands at 1.1 billion users from 200 countries. The user count in Indonesia has increased by about 4 million, or 15%, since February 2024, when it was around 28 million. Indonesia ranks sixth in the world for the highest number of LinkedIn users, following the United States, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and France, which have 234 million, 148 million, 83 million, 42 million, and 33 million users, respectively, as of February 2025.
LinkedIn has not disclosed the breakdown of free versus paid users as of February 2025. However, they report that the number of LinkedIn Premium users has grown by nearly 50% over the past two years. Additionally, LinkedIn claims that, on average, about 7 users find jobs through the platform every minute. In contrast, the number of job applications submitted on LinkedIn each minute is significantly higher, with over 9,000 users applying for jobs.
Beyond user statistics, LinkedIn also revealed that there are more than 67 million companies and over 139,000 educational institutions registered on the platform. Furthermore, LinkedIn's business has seen a 9% increase in revenue compared to the previous year, with annual revenue from LinkedIn Premium reaching $2 billion (approximately IDR 32.8 trillion) for the first time in Q2 FY25.
