Skytrax World Airport Awards has recently announced the top 100 airports in the world for 2024. Among these, two airports from Indonesia made the list: Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) in Jakarta and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. Established in 1999, the World Airport Awards are based on global customer satisfaction surveys conducted at airports.

These awards serve as a benchmark for the quality of the airport industry worldwide, evaluating both service and customer facilities across 570 airports. The survey, which ran from August 2023 to March 2024, included responses from over 100 nationalities. Skytrax fully funded the survey, with no costs or fees charged to the airports.

According to the official Skytrax World Airport Awards website, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) in Jakarta has been ranked as the 28th best airport in the world, improving from its previous position of 43rd. Similarly, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali has been recognized as the 74th best airport, also moving up from last year's rank of 80.
