The Ministry of Health will allocate a budget of Rp 4.7 trillion for free health check-ups this year. This funding comes from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) and the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), with the largest portion provided by the central government. Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that the budget is divided, with Rp 1.3 trillion coming from local governments. He explained that the remaining Rp 3.4 trillion will be sourced from the central government. This budget will be distributed to health centers across Indonesia, which will manage the use of these funds.
Additionally, the Ministry of Health will launch the Free Health Check Program in February 2025. This initiative aims to raise public awareness about the importance of early disease detection and to provide easy access to free health check-ups. People interested in participating are encouraged to download the SatuSehat app, which is currently being finalized. Through this app, users can fill in their personal information, select a check-up date, and receive a check-up ticket. After registering and activating their JKN membership, especially for those not yet registered, activation can be done one month before their birthday.
After registering, people will get a notification from the app about the examination schedule. Documents to bring for the examination at FKTP include personal identification like an ID card or family card, a child identity book for toddlers and preschoolers, an examination ticket from the app or WhatsApp, and a self-screening questionnaire that has been filled out in advance.
