Complete List Of Recent TNI Mutations, Including Head Of BSSN Lieutenant General Nugroho Sulistyo Budi

A total of 101 high-ranking officers in the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) have officially undergone rotation and transfer. This latest rotation and transfer is outlined in the TNI Commander’s Decision Number Kep/7/I/2025, dated January 3, 2025, regarding the appointment and dismissal of positions within the TNI. Among those transferred is Lieutenant General Nugroho Sulistyo Budi, the newly appointed head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), who was designated on December 6, 2024, but has not yet been inaugurated.

According to Kompas.id on Saturday, January 4, 2025, Nugroho Sulistyo has been moved to a position at the TNI Army Headquarters as he approaches retirement. However, the decision letter does not specify who will replace him as head of BSSN, as the appointment of the BSSN head is under presidential authority, as explained by TNI's Chief of Information, Major General Hariyanto.

In addition to Nugroho, Air Marshal Kusworo has also been transferred from his role as head of the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) due to retirement. The latest TNI rotation list for January 2025 includes:

Hariyanto stated that the 101 TNI officers transferred include members from all three branches: the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
