PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) reported strong financial performance in 2024, achieving a net profit of Rp 252 billion, an 18 percent increase from the previous year. This success was driven by several major projects, including the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulon Progo Toll Road, the PUSRI III-B Plant in Palembang, and the Tanjung Emas Port in Semarang. Although operating revenue fell from Rp 20.07 trillion in 2023 to Rp 13.35 trillion in 2024, this decline was mainly due to the restructuring of the Joint Operation (JO) project portfolio. The contribution from JO projects rose from 26 percent in 2023 to 48 percent in 2024, with JO revenue recorded solely as profit in accounting terms.
JO profits surged by 81.4 percent, increasing from Rp 487.7 billion in 2023 to Rp 884.7 billion in 2024, supported by projects like the MRT CP-02, the Jakarta-Cikampek II South Toll Road, and the IKN Section 3A-2 Toll Road. ADHI's gross profit margin also improved to 12 percent due to cost optimization at the project level. On the balance sheet, ADHI's total liabilities stood at Rp 25.4 trillion in December 2024, a 19 percent decrease from the previous year, largely due to the repayment of all maturing bonds.
ADHI's equity grew by 5 percent to Rp 9.7 trillion in 2024, positively impacting the total Debt Equity Ratio (DER), which fell from 3.39 times in 2023 to 2.62 times in 2024. The DER for Interest Bearing Debt also improved from 1.31 times to 0.92 times, indicating ADHI's enhanced ability to meet its obligations. In terms of cash flow, ADHI experienced significant growth, with operating cash flow increasing by 187 percent in the audited financial report for 2024. Since 2018, ADHI has consistently recorded positive operating cash flow, reflecting strong cash management.
ADHI is committed to sustainable development by maximizing the potential of 77 National Strategic Projects (PSN) planned from 2025 to 2029. This initiative is part of the company's strategy to support long-term sustainable growth while contributing to national infrastructure development. Through innovation and sustainability, ADHI aims to positively impact Indonesia's economy, ensuring that each PSN project is completed on time and delivers maximum benefits to the community and the environment.
