The leadership of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for the 2024-2029 term was officially announced during the national leadership meeting (Rapimnas) held at Hotel Mulia, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Sunday, December 1, 2024. The announcement was made by Erwin Aksa, the Deputy Chairman for Organization and Communication, who also served as the Chairman of the 2024 Rapimnas Steering Committee. Anindya Bakrie was appointed as the Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, following the extraordinary national conference (Munaslub) held in September.
Investment Minister Rosan P. Roeslani was named the Chairman of the Honorary Council. "The Chairman of the Honorary Council is Mr. Rosan Roeslani, who is also the Minister of Investment," Erwin Aksa stated while reading the leadership structure. Arsjad Rasjid was appointed as the Chairman of the Advisory Council (Wantim) of Kadin Indonesia, although he was not present at the event.
Cooperatives Minister Budi Arie Setiadi was also appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council of Kadin Indonesia, but he was not seen at the venue. Meanwhile, Bambang Soestyo, known as Bamsoet, was named the Deputy Chairman for Political and Security Coordination.
Hashim Djojohadikusumo, the younger brother of President Prabowo Subianto, was designated as the Chairman of the Advisory Council. After the announcement, Chairman Anindya emphasized the need for unity within Kadin Indonesia. He stated that Kadin should align with the programs of President Prabowo Subianto's government. "We must be united. Please review the policies to ensure they can work alongside the government," Anindya said.
